Watch beer labels come to life

Stare at that moving image of Heady Topper for a few minutes. Thirsty for a beer?

Outside of a few animated beer pours, I’ve never seen gifs and craft beer merge in such perfect form. Some of the most recognizable images in beer label artwork—the Dogfish shark, the Raging Bitch dog, the Edmund Fitzgerald—come to life in this series. The effect is reminiscent of the wizardry Daily Prophet in the Harry Potter world, but with less doom and gloom.

The geeky gifs are the creation of Trevor Carmick, who posts a new addition every week. I’m not sure if he’s taking requests, but I’d be both amazed and utterly terrified if he tackled Jester King Viking Metal.
